Thandiwe Khumalo

I am a senior mental health Nurse and have experience working with clients with Physical health problems and mental health problems and how this is entwined. I come from the BME community and from my own experience they is a greater need to create awareness and to have more organ donors in the BME Community. Some of the clients because of the challenges of the illness and also not getting the right match for the organ end up having depression and needing some counselling and this is also challenging for the family. I have background experience in family therapy and have done some training in behavioural family therapy. I am also currently working as a GP Liaison Nurse and also work closely with health commissioners.
